sjTasks is designed, built, and backed by Sally Jo LLC — the people behind SallyJo.com, SallyJo.ai, and sjMonitor.com.
We run client projects for a living. For years the same four questions came up every week — what is late, who is overloaded, what is due next week, are we over estimate — and answering them meant opening four places and doing arithmetic in a spreadsheet. The tools we tried were either calm and quiet about the numbers, or full of numbers and exhausting to live in.
So we built the one we wanted. Nothing is missing from sjTasks — it is out of sight until you reach for it. Start with a task, who has it and when it is due; turn on estimates, time, subtasks or task lists the day you need them, and the screen stays as calm as it was. We run our own company on it before we ask anyone else to.
Support is a person*
On a paid plan, write to us and a human replies — not a queue, not a bot. And nothing we send you comes from an address that cannot be answered: reply to an email about a task and your reply becomes a note on it.
On the Free plan the docs and the assistant answer the common questions; a person answers on every paid plan.
Your data is yours
It belongs to your team, and you can take it out whenever you like — every project, task and note in one download, with your files up to 5 GB. No request to make and nothing to pay. Past that, reply to the email the export comes with and we get the files to you another way.
Nothing disappears quietly
Work that will not happen is canceled, a finished project is archived, and somebody who leaves is deactivated — all of it still readable. What an admin does delete waits 30 days where one click brings it back.
