Priced by people who pay their own bills
Sally Jo LLC took no outside money, and you probably did not either. We know what it is like to weigh a monthly bill against a piece of equipment you need, so nothing here is a fourteen-day tease with the useful parts switched off. Free has every feature, for a small team, for as long as it suits you. The paid plans are one flat price however many people you bring — the five hundredth costs what the second did — and your clients are free on every one of them.
When you outgrow a plan, you outgrow it on active projects and files. Every feature is on every plan; what the bigger plans add besides room is support — a person answering email fast on Standard, priority email and phone support on Unlimited — and the price you move to is printed above. What no plan has, and why, is said plainly on the features page.

Upgrade when you outgrow the room
When a limit is reached, the message names the plan with more room. An admin moves up from the Billing page — that means entering a card the first time. Until then, nothing is charged.

- What does Free include?
- Every feature — projects, tasks and subtasks, files, notes, project templates, integrations, reporting, daily and weekly summaries, guest access, field workers, optional time tracking and the time report — for 5 people, 2 active projects and 1 GB of files. No card, and it does not expire.
- Could we really put 500 people on Standard for $29 a month?
- Yes. Every paid plan is a flat price for unlimited people — the five hundredth person costs the same as the second, and there is no per-seat maths to do before you hire somebody. What the plans differ on is room for the work: Standard holds 25 active projects and 50 GB of files, and Unlimited holds as many active projects as you like and 250 GB of files. Field workers, and your clients as guests, come on top of any of them, free and in any number.
- What counts as a person?
- An admin or a member: somebody who does the work — creates tasks, uploads files, writes notes, logs time. Each is counted once, however many projects they are on. A field worker is a member, so on Free they count among its people; on a paid plan people are unlimited. Guests are not counted.
- Do clients cost anything?
- No. Your client comes in as a guest: they read and write notes on the projects you name, and nothing else. Guests are free on every plan, in any number, and never count toward the people on it.
- What happens when I hit a limit?
- The next addition — a person, a project, a file — is declined with a plain sentence naming the plan with more room. An admin moves up from the Billing page: choose the plan, enter a card on the payment processor's own checkout, and the room is there. Nothing you already have is touched: no project locks, no file disappears, nobody loses access.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, whenever you like. Your team keeps your plan to the end of the period you paid for, then goes back to Free with everything in it. If it holds more than Free allows, it is read-only until you make room or choose a plan. A Free team with no activity for 90 days may be deleted, so take an export if you are leaving.
